Dallas from the Squamish Nation came to our class today to bless the fish tank

We collected cedar branches, and Dallas told us the story if hiw the Salmon people came to be.. 

He used his beautiful deerskin drum with the eagle painting to sing us a welcoming, a blessing and a farewell song. 

We dipped our cedar branches in water, put powerful nurturing thoughts into our minds and used the branches to bless all corners of the salmon tank.

It was such a special afternoon!
