We were treated to the most amazing wind ensemble comprised of high school students from Japan. Their performance was outstanding. They played a lively assortment of tunes and demonstrated their instruments. If that weren't enough, some of the students danced, too.
After recess, every class was treated to a visit from a handful of the musicians, who taught the students some origami. Before we knew it, we had master paper airplanes under construction.
Then, of course, if you've made paper airplanes, you have to fly them.
Then we learned some other origami.
