Hunter Park in Lynn Valley

If you're looking for a peaceful place to walk, Hunter Park is perfect. Follow the trails or go off-roading like we did.

The beautiful and huge old stumps tell stories of logging days. Those notches are for the springboards that loggers used to stand on in order to saw and chop such huge trees.   We learned about that at the North Van Museum and Archives a few months ago.

Stumps can also be thrones.

Stumps can also be nurse logs, supporting new growth.

Ultimately, Hunter Park is a peaceful place to get back to nature.
