Owl pellets

Did you know that owls eat their prey whole, digest most of it and spit out a pellet with the non digestable parts, fur, bones and feathers. So
Here we are picking the pellets apart to find mouse, vole and bird bones..

We found pelvises, femurs, shoulder blades, skulls, and ribs. On Thursday we each hope to reconstruct a small rodent skeleton. Spelled it right this time:-)
