☀️❄️!

We all love a sunny sky, but boy it was cold on Friday afternoon.  We made it to Boulevard Park on our community walk, and then the instinct to play took over. And then the instinct to get warm took over that, so we headed back to school. But in those few blocks, the kids made so many observations about the people, places, services, and utilities that make a community.  I was really impressed at how much they noticed -- taxis, power poles, moving trucks, buses, and more.
"Hang on, I have another thing to write!"

Run!

Ack, the wind is so cold!

Spin!
Swing!

Big thanks to Jannine Cook and Gray Taylor for coming with us and enduring the cold.

And farewell for now to our dear student teacher, Tamara Polos, who finished her first practicum with us on Friday. We'll see her again in January.
