Autumn in Loutet garden

IThe pouring rain didn't stop Farmer Gavin from working so it didn't stop us from learning how to plant garlic, doing a garden scavenger hunt and munching on fresh kale.

Randy holding up the biggest head of garlic I've ever seen.

Farmer Gavin had prepared the soil and evenly spaced the holes for us to plant the garlic into.

Jason - the farm teacher explains the scavenger hunt to us.

Jason shows us the flower on a zucchini.

The kale was as fresh as it gets!

We returned to class a little wetter but happy to have enjoyed the garden!
