Edible Polygons

Cooking class?!  

No, it's Math!  2-D shapes, to be exact.

Polygons are 2-D shapes. Polygons are flat and have straight edges.  

What better way to explore polygons than with processed cheese slices and pretzels!  You can make many different triangles, for instance, just by moving or biting your food.  

We also had our best Friday in terms of blue and green behaviour. 

Everyone needs a refresher every once in a while. We brainstormed red (stop immediately) behaviours, yellow (warning--this could go sideways easily) behaviours, green (following instructions, working smoothly) behaviours, and blue (on task, working calmly and quietly) ones.  This is what a blue audience looks like:

We are getting REALLY good at getting quiet on first ask and holding it.  Kids, give your parents a demonstration.
