In a perfect world, I would have had time to spend the day sharing folk songs about peace with our students. Never fear -- the music is timeless, so we'll enjoy it eventually. In the meantime, if you feel like dancing with your family, download "Love Train" by The OJays and get moving to this great song with its strong message of community:
People all over the world (everybody)
Join hands
Start a love train
Love train...
Brooksbank had an outstanding Remembrance Day assembly this morning. The audience was so respectful of the occasion. Thank you to Ms Dunkley, who arranged all the presentations; the Arts were featured beautifully.
This afternoon, we were treated to Mr. I showing what happens when you mix oil and water. A wonderful presentation with clear steps and good pacing. Well done.
Thank you for participating in conferences this past week. We really value your wisdom and input.
Business: your child's planner should contain a sample gift/Xmas card, as well as a bright green field trip notice for Lynn Canyon on Nov. 22. Please see us if either of those didn't make it home. They're due Friday, November 15.
Reminder: no school on Monday, November 11.
Happy weekend to all.
F. Nancy Munro
