Chores

Cleaning bannock sticks

Hauling luggage:

Why do kids love doing dishes here and not at home?

Wood gathering so we all smell nice when we come home.

Bannock and lunch. Mmm

Not too much raw dough consumed!

Just before we go in

Deer hooves, feathers, carvings and copper adorn the talking stick.

The greeting pole is left behind...

And we get to go inside!

We did have to ask permission too:

Permission Granted!

Longhouse morning

Uneventful and relaxing bus ride and a beautiful walk led by Alex, who told stories and showed us the indigenous plants..

Thank you to the wonderful parent helpers!

Off we go!!!

Grade 3s from two classes, Schnetzler/Munro’s and Miss Lim’s, have set off for the longhouse.  Excitement +++ before boarding the bus.

We love how Ms. Schnetzler wears fancy earrings to outdoor school. 💓
