Owls heads swivel.

Owls have strong talons

There are over 200 species of owls

Our visiting owl was a spectacled owl from South America, but raised in Ontario

Our visitor, Inspector is free to fly every night at his home in Duncan

Inspector pays us a visit

We have a bit of an owl theme evolving in our classroom and Mannix's family was instrumental in having 'Inspector' pay our class and our buddy class, Mrs Batista's,a visit.




Mindy, his trainer and companion taught us so many things about owls in general and Inspector in particular.
