One Hen

One hen changed the lives of a west African boy named Kojo and his mother. Kojo saved enough money to buy one hen, and then they would have an eggs to eat and sell. Selling eggs gave Kojo more money, so he bought another hen. You can see where this is going.

Twenty-five hens after one year.  And then more, and more opportunities.  He gets a small loan which, over time, he turns into big success. The book is based on a true story and is very inspirational.

Tennis!

Marcus Anderson is at Brooksbank for the next couple of weeks to teach students tennis. His approach is innovative and fun. Ask your kids to explain the skills and games they're learning.

Hug your racquet while you're listening to instructions.

The Jumping Hyenas

The Cheetahs

Marcus can do awesome tricks, too.
