Guess who came for a visit? Two black and white creatures, mammals in fact, with fur, hooves, big hips, foot long tongues, udders and expressive faces! The delightful Holstein cows licked our hands, showed us how milk was collected and patiently allowed us to watch them chew their cud!

We were entranced

One cow produces 24 litres per day!

The calf weighed 80 pounds at birth, could walk within hours and is two months old.
