The last three weeks have been splendid.

Ben dancing at the talent show.

At Sutherland for a Skyart assembly.

Guided reading in style.
At Boulevard Park with some friendly visitors.

Chef Pino, Rudy's dad, came and taught us how to make wicked good potato soup using the spuds the kids grew in tubs. SO good.

Good times all year.
Thanks, Chickens!

What a great year

Dear Div. 9,
What an incredible privilege it has been to teach our class. This group of children did as much teaching as learning this year. Thank you to our dear families for all their enthusiasm and support throughout the last ten months.  Your interest and energy are contagious and stand us all in good stead -- we are integral parts of our village!  Special cuddles go to my beloved partner, Ms Schnetzler.
With love and good wishes for the kind of summer you want,
Ms Munro (Fancy Chicken Lady)
PS: thank you for your endless encouragement re: my hair. It's growing, it's growing!

Robert Davidson

We saw a fabulous exhibit of Robert Davidson's traditional and contemporary art at the Artists for Kids Gallery this morning. Our docent, Marie taught us to recognize ovoid, T and U shapes in First Nations art. Then we spent an hour in the studio and we are very proud of our creations! Come see them in the classroom!

Remember, anyone is welcome to visit the Gallery during school hours and on weekends during this exhibition. Go check it out!
