It’s June already!

Brooksbank reopened today.  These four joined Ma. Schnetzler for a different Kind of learning. Part of today involved walking to Ms. Munro’s ;for some plant identification, chicken counting, and cat worship. 😻

Here they come...

The welcoming committee:

As we looked at peonies, euphorbia, stinging nettles, and rhubarb, Ms. Munro’s daughter Frances joined us. She is graduating from Sutherland.

Thunder took a break when everyone left. He is always the center of attraction.

Even though this is not JA’s favourite thing to do...

He takes a deep breath and writes anyway.  Some people don’t have much to say, and some could fill pages. High five to JA, because he persevered and wrote this lovely and informative paragraph about his Mum’s garden.  From his words, you can tell it is an important and special place for their family. πŸ’—πŸŒΏπŸŒΌπŸŒ·

Let’s also admire JA’s italic printing. Notice how nicely he joins letters.

Creative writing indeed!

A-F has published a book called Bunny’s Adventure.  I hope you’re able to read it and enjoy the pictures. A-F came up with characters and actions to show this Bunny isn’t just lying around in a vegetable patch.  Great work planning out the words and photos!

Imagine wandering here...

A-F used found objects to create this beautiful scene.  Can you identify anything here?  What would you want to be?  Where would you stop to rest?  Let your imagination run wild.

The feathers are made of what?!?!

Look closely at BK’s glorious rooster collage. How creative!  How would you describe it?
